My name is Donna and I live in Sulphur, Louisiana. My husband Steve and I were very fortunate enough to meet Verniece in our hometown. Unfortunately, for her, she was there due to the accidental death of her Son, Wesley.

Wesley was a co-worker of Steve's and I had also met him through my job at his credit union where I worked.

We had lost our Son, Matthew, on April 9, 2004. Wesley's funeral arrangements were being handled by the same funeral home that handled Matthew's arrangements. It was January 2005 that we met Wesley's Mother, Verniece, for the first time. We were not looking forward to returning to the funeral home but for some reason, we felt we had to go.

We introduced ourselves to Verniece at the funeral home and told her how we knew Wesley. She was having to handle the funeral arrangements and greet people that knew Wesley. Verniece lived in Arkansas at the time and had to travel to Sulphur, Louisiana to take care of her Son's funeral and burial there as he had lived there for many years.

We went into the chapel to view the video of Wesley's life and to pay our respects to him and his family. As we were leaving we stopped by to speak with Verniece one last time. We had no idea of her 'special gifts' but after a short conversation with her, she had already sensed something was important about our meeting.

It turns out that Verniece knew that she was supposed to meet someone special that day and it turns out it was Steve and me. She had been getting intuitive messages from someone in the spirit world most of the day while at the funeral home. She had been trying to focus on the task at hand and stay centered enough to meet all the strangers who were there for her Son's funeral. She was trying to be Wesley's Mom. This was a woman whose heart had been broken beyond description!

But, after talking with us as we were about to leave, she couldn't deny who she was, "Our Angel Lady." That is a nickname given to her from people who know her best. We learned from Verniece that she was a Spiritual medium and she delivered messages of hope to loved ones in their time of grief. The person who had been trying to get through to us was our Son, Matt. He knew that Verniece could hear and see departed loved ones in the spirit world. And he was there at her Son's funeral because it was the way he could get to talk to us through her.

Imagine, we didn't have a clue who she was when we met her. And she didn't have a clue as to who we were. We had never met until now. But we were led to each other so that she could use her special gift during the most difficult time of her life. She was there to ease our pain. And ease it, she did!

Verniece didn't know that we had lost a son when she met us. Only after speaking with us for a few moments, that she was sensing that we had something in common. And it was then, she said, "we have something in common. You really do understand my pain, don't you? How did you lose your son?" The only thing we said then was that we lost him in an auto accident. It was what followed after this that made us realize just how special her gift was and how real it was!

It was then that Matt began speaking through Verniece. He began to tell us through her that he was so sorry for causing us so much pain. He was really worried about his Dad and about the heaviness in his chest. He wanted Steve to take care of himself. He said that Steve was not supposed to come and meet him until it was his time. He said that Steve was needed to be here to help take care of me. He said we would be together in God's timing. He said to me directly as Verniece looked at me, "You asked for this." This statement didn't make sense at the time until the next morning when I was going over the conversation with Verniece in my mind.

It was then it all became very clear again. I recall being at my son's casket, bending over, whispering my thoughts to his spirit, saying "I am going to need your help to get your dad through this, and if there is anything you can do to help me, please do it!" That was in April of 2004 and we met Verniece at her Son's funeral in January of 2005! What I was asking my Son's spirit to do was help me get his Dad through all the grief that was so deep for both of us. I couldn't do this alone.

As we talked with Verniece at the funeral home that day, she gave us very specific details of our son's accident that she could not have known. Our story is in her second book about visitations of the after life. The story is called "Message From Matt." The story goes into greater detail of our experience with her and Matt's messages to us.

She said "what about the 4-wheel drive white truck? He keeps saying something about this truck." Steve and I just looked at each other in shock! That was what Matt drove and was the truck he was in when he had his accident. We had not mentioned anything about this to her! She went on to say that he wanted us to know what happened. He never thought this would happen to him. He thought he was invincible in that truck and he was sorry for all the pain he caused us. He said he would be watching over us and the rest of the family. Verniece gave us other details about his accident that she could not have known. She even brought in the spirit of Steve's grandmother who mentioned blackberries. That started Steve telling Verniece all about his memories of the blackberries with his grandmother. She said that his son, Matt was with her and they were both just fine.

The only thing Steve and I could do was just sit there in awe and cry at what we were hearing and feeling. This was the best gift anyone could have given to us. It was so unexpected, and aren't those the best gifts of all?

We are so fortunate to have Verniece in our lives. We are both so sorry that we had to meet her the way we did, when she was in so much pain herself. But we both appreciate the love she has for her "gift" and that she chose to share it with us during the most difficult time in her life. But, she also understood how we felt when we connected with Matt that day. She was the answer to the prayer I had made in my thoughts to Matt at his funeral.

Everyone of us has had a chance to meet that one person that has changed our in some way. The wisdom and the knowledge of that person showed us the light and the right path to follow when we felt lost or confused. Life can dramatically change after that encounter with that special person.

Verniece is one of those people in my life. I was looking for an answer regarding a waking vision I had about a Big Bird looking like an eagle and a phoenix. I found my answer after I spoke with Verniece in my first phone Reading with her. We spoke on the phone for a long time like old friends would do even though we had never met.

I had asked Verniece to do a Life Reading for me. She was encouraging me to stay focused on my destiny and continue to work with my creative spirit. She helped me see that everything that was showing up in my Life Reading was happening for a reason and this was creating who I am and who I will become. In the Reading, Verniece made several intuitive suggestions based on my Life Reading and from the conversation with me.

I made a decision to sell my house and move to another area. I had always felt that I had to move to a new place, and I never did it until now. I love my new house. I wasn't looking so hard to find the house. This house was on the market for 120 days, and it was waiting for me to find it. It was a great decision, and I am very happy where I am now.

Sometimes we never realize that we are surrounded by things which does not match our energy or our spirit. Everything and everyone has an aura and a spirit. I have found happiness and peace.

I took a full time job after speaking with Verniece. It lasted for a few months. I wasn't sure that I made the right decision due to certain things that were happening in the work place. I shared my feelings with Verniece and she listened to what I thought was happening. She was able to show me right away where the problem was and why I didn't feel comfortable to work in this agency. The situation was completely changed in the three months I was there after Verniece's intuitive message for me where she shared some possible changes showing up in the near future in that situation. It helped prepare me for the changes that did come and I was able to cope with this because of the advance warning from Verniece.

I am free again to us my creativity in the ways that are best for me and to maintain my inner peace. I was able to use my inner guidance again in my life. One day I got an email from Verniece telling me about the movie "The Celestine Prophecy." She said I might enjoy watching it as it has a lot of deep meaning in it about following your own inner voice and watching for signs that help us follow the right path in life.

Verniece was absolutely right about the importance of that movie in my life. After watching that movie I realized I had to continue to work on my writing I had started over fifteen years ago. Verniece helped me see that my writing was important and that I had to finish this work I started so long ago.

I have reviewed all the conversations and Readings that Verniece did for me and I see how many times the number of right answers I got from Verniece about my life and my destiny. I got the right advice from Verniece each time I consulted with her. I felt the courage and support to go forward with my life.

I believe Verniece is a Messenger from Spirit. I have met only three people like Verniece for 43 years of my life. I feel lucky about this. It is only a few people on earth like Verniece who has a gift to tell the truth and show the LIGHT.

I just give her the person's name and their date of birth, and she comes up with the most inspirational message! I have given this gift to friends and family on their birthdays or for special occasions, and they love it! It's like giving the gift of "truth"---and this is so easy for me as this is a 'one-of-a-kind' gift from me to others.

"I have known Verniece for several years. From the beginning of our acquaintance it was obvious that she had special gifts. I was managing a restaurant when I first met her. I left that position when I realized it was making me ill due to the stress on the job.

A few days after I left the job, I received phone calls from several of my previous employees. They strongly insisted that I call Verniece. They told me she had been to the restaurant after I had left. They said she provided them with very significant personal information about themselves that they found very amazing. Verniece was doing her 'angel work' even then with them.

In the beginning there were only brief phone encounters and occasional unexpected chance meetings in others places around town for several months with Verniece. It was during these encounters I became thoroughly convinced that I should make an appointment to begin some personal development work with her.

I changed jobs again during that period of time. One day in a session with Verniece I mentioned the stress of the most recent job working in a new restaurant. Verniece told me that she "saw" me working with flowers in a floral shop. When she said that, it was like an epiphany. I gave my notice and began searching for a job with a floral shop.

During this time in my sessions with Verniece, I learned more about her skills and gifts as an Energy Medicine Healer. I had been experiencing health problems for years that had not been resolved. Traditional medicine had been totally ineffective for me. I really disliked the idea of being pumped full of drugs to mask the symptoms.

Verniece's intuitive abilities guided her to select treatments that would be most effective for me. After a series of visits I was making real progress.

During this time, I was looking for a new job with a floral shop in the area. I left my applications at all of the floral shops in the area. The day after my last day at work in the restaurant, I received a phone call and was offered a position with the floral shop starting the next week.

I have been in the same employment ever since. I have now progressed into a job that allows me to express my creative talents through the art of floral arrangements. It has been a beneficial part of my personal growth. Much healing has taken place for myself and others in my life.

Through a series of synchronicities over the next couple of years, Verniece and I came together again in mid-January. This time, we had a chance to have a cup of tea and share about the progress of life and joy in living.

I am now on the Board of the Unity Center of the Ozarks. The church is in the process of purchasing a building for more space and a permanent location. Verniece did not know any of this. When we were visiting she said she would like to offer to present a series of three hour seminars through Unity Center. She wanted to donate the love offerings received through the seminars to the Unity Center. Verniece said this was a way to give back to this church and serve her community.

She had mentioned this the first time in mid-December to another Unity member. When I had the informal visit with her in mid-January, I had already planned to tell her that I wanted to ask the Board if she could present a program at Unity. I was able to tell her later that the Board had approved this and we began making plans. It seems that "Spirit" was working through several of us at the same time to bring about the greatest good for many in our area. She did not know I was attending Unity Center or that I was on the Board.

Spirit was working through her again and I was a part of helping with the process by taking care of the seminar advertising through the local newspaper. And I was also helping with the process of the decisions regarding the new real estate for the Unity Center. There were so many synchronicities throughout the details of the seminar presentations, the new location for the Unity Center, and other people in our community coming together for something that was 'meant to be'.

The first three hour seminar was a great success and many spirit messages were given through Verniece to others there. I was able to stand before this group and share my personal experience in knowing Verniece and how my life has changed for the better.

It would seem that life is full of events everyday that seem to be just a coincidence. But I know that these are really synchronistic events which Spirit has creatively arranged to help us benefit from opportunities that we might otherwise have overlooked or dismissed.

And when Verniece, our very own "Angel Lady" is around, those synchronistic events occur quite frequently! This is because she is guided by Spirit in the form of Angelic Beings that guide her on her unusual journeys to serve others. She is a beautiful, loving, and gentle person who wishes only to help others find healing, peace, and joy in life.

As for myself, over the years, my relationship with Verniece has developed into a beautiful and loving friendship that I deeply treasure."

Once I did that, it all made perfect sense to the family. This guy loved lemonade and drank it everyday! He had a watch that was especially dear to him. It never left his wrist. The portrait Verniece saw and described to me in detail was prominently displayed in the very room she saw the portrait in this gentleman's home. The lady with him in the portrait was his beloved wife. We have to think his spirit was using Verniece's skills as a way to reassure his family that all was well with him. The "evidence" of his identity was presented to convince the doubting minds. I think the experience was a much-needed comfort to this family at a very difficult time."
